No - PHP Pro stores everything in lightweight JSON files on your server. No MySQL, no database setup, no server configuration beyond the FTP upload. This is one of its key advantages over heavier monitoring tools.

PHP 7.4 or higher. PHP 8.x is recommended and fully supported. Most modern hosting runs PHP 8.1 or 8.2 by default. If you are unsure which version your server runs, your hosting control panel will tell you - or ask us and we will check.

No - unlike the WordPress Pro version, PHP Pro cannot edit your existing pages directly. It generates the correct SEO head block for you to paste into your template once, and from that point it is permanent. Any fixes identified go through the same process - we give you the exact code, you paste it in. If you want us to make those edits for you that is available as a separate service.

If your site generates static HTML but is deployed to a PHP-capable server, PHP Pro will work. The scanner file just needs to be accessible at a URL on your domain. If your hosting is purely static (GitHub Pages, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages) then PHP Pro is not compatible - the free scanner would be your option there.
