Acceptance of Terms

By using PixelSEO - whether the free scanner at pixelseo.uk or any Pro installed version - you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

These terms apply to PixelBay Agency, a UK-based web design and development studio, and all services operating under the PixelSEO brand.

Use of the Free Scanner

The free scanner at pixelseo.uk is provided without charge and without warranty. You may use it for personal or commercial purposes subject to the following conditions:

• You will not attempt to automate, scrape or systematically extract data from the scanner
• You will not attempt to throttle, overload or disrupt our server infrastructure
• You will not attempt to reverse engineer, copy or reproduce the scanning logic or codebase
• You will not use the scanner to facilitate unlawful activity
• You will not misrepresent scan results or use them to deceive others

We reserve the right to block access to the scanner for any user or IP address that violates these conditions without notice.

The free scanner is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy or continued availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue the free scanner at any time.

Pro Versions - What You Are Buying

Both the PHP Pro and WordPress Pro versions are sold as a one-off purchase. There is no monthly subscription and no ongoing fee unless you separately agree support or maintenance work with PixelBay Agency.

What the purchase includes

• A licence to use the PixelSEO Pro software on a single site as agreed at the time of purchase
• Installation by PixelBay Agency (WordPress Pro) or installation files and instructions (PHP Pro)
• The software as it exists at the time of purchase, built to current web standards

What the purchase does not include

• Ongoing support, updates or maintenance unless separately agreed and priced
• Guaranteed compatibility with future versions of WordPress, PHP or any third-party platform
• Management of your site, content or SEO strategy after installation
• A transfer of ownership of the underlying code - you are purchasing a licence, not the software itself

The price of the Pro version is agreed between you and PixelBay Agency prior to purchase and depends on your site's requirements. Any support, updates or additional work beyond the initial installation will be quoted separately.

Installation and Handover

For WordPress Pro, PixelBay Agency will install and configure the software on your server. Once installation is complete and you have confirmed the software is working as expected, the installation is considered handed over.

After handover, you are responsible for the ongoing management of your site, including any updates to WordPress core, plugins or themes that may affect compatibility with PixelSEO Pro.

For PHP Pro, you are responsible for installation. We provide the files and documentation. If you require assistance, this can be arranged as a separate paid service.

PixelBay Agency is not responsible for any issues arising from changes made to your site after installation, including plugin conflicts, hosting migrations or platform upgrades.

Liability

PixelSEO scan results are informational only. They reflect the state of a page at the time of scanning and are intended to assist with SEO improvements. They do not constitute professional SEO advice.

PixelBay Agency is not liable for:

• Any changes in your search engine rankings resulting from actions taken based on scan results
• Any loss of business, revenue or data arising from use of PixelSEO
• Inaccuracies in scan results caused by page rendering limitations, bot detection or server-side dynamic content
• Any downtime, errors or interruptions to the free scanner service
• Compatibility issues arising from third-party platform updates after installation of a Pro version

Our total liability to you in connection with PixelSEO shall not exceed the amount paid for the Pro version, or zero in the case of the free scanner.

Technology and Standards

PixelSEO is built using current web standards including modern PHP and the latest stable WordPress APIs. We build to last - the checks we run are based on established SEO and AI readiness standards that are unlikely to change significantly in the short to medium term.

That said, the web evolves. Search engine algorithms change. WordPress releases new major versions. PHP deprecates features. We cannot guarantee that PixelSEO Pro will remain fully compatible with all future platform changes indefinitely, particularly where those changes are outside our control.

If you require long-term compatibility assurance or ongoing updates as standards evolve, we would recommend discussing a support agreement with us at the time of purchase. This can be arranged at an additional cost and tailored to your needs.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from use of PixelSEO or from a purchase of a Pro version shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of PixelSEO following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when these terms were last updated.
